Strand Beach Jams are hosted by The Fire Dancing Studio, Anina Fourie, Helderberg Ocean Awareness Movement, Lisa Starr, and Drumba Rhythm for Life, Bevil Spence.
We start our event with a beach cleanup hosted by Lisa Starr from HOAM. Thereafter, the fun starts as Anina and her team bring entertainment for both young and old, getting everyone involved before showcasing their skills with a dazzling fire dancing circle. Bevil and his team from Drumba Rhythm for Life set the heartbeat for the duration of the show.
We ask for public participation in bringing donations suitable for the event's beneficiary. We always try to help someone new, so please check back if you are uncertain about what to bring.

PET FOOD DRIVE
Join us for our 4th Annual ANTI- GUYFAWKS. Our goal is to eliminate fireworks as a Guyfawks celebration while providing the public with an much better alternative.
Inviting all fire dancers to UNITE for a great cause. We will provide your magic fire juice
Drummers you are welcome to join in the fun with Drumba Rhythm who will provide the beat.
To the public we kindly ask that you consider joining the beach clean-up. Once again organized by Helderberg Ocean Awareness Movement. Bags and gloves will be provided.
Please remember that this is a pet food drive so any donations will be welcome.

At The Fire & Flow Studio, Somerset West.
The workshop is R350, and will include snacks and drinks. Awesome vibes and a whole lot of fun!
This will be an intensive 1 and a half hour of getting to know about flow, poi, fire dancing and everything it is, and potentially could be.
We will learn a basic poi routine which will introduce you to new moves, and moving with poi as a choreographed unit.

Sense of Self- Fire Twirling workshop and show
Come join us for a workshop in body integration work and fire twirling, led by the fabulous Anina from the Fire Dancing Studio in Cape Town, and Susan Wyatt from Creative MindHealth, Zimbabwe. No previous experience needed!
Only 20 spaces available.
The workshop will be 2 days long, highly interactive and fun. We then hope you will join in the group to put on a fire show on the last evening.
What you will get:
-daily body integration and flow work
-fire safety training
-A set of poi (worth $60 each)
-Fire & Flow level 1 training: spinning, weaving, butterflies… need we say more
-Fire dancing attitude… yeah!
-Refreshments & lunches provided

When: Saturday and Sunday 4 & 5 June, ending with our very own Fire Show Sunday evening - do invite your friends!
